One of those things that we sometimes get stuck in a rut with, at least at my house that happens. Pretty sure you’ll be adding this one into your rotation though, Cheesy Slow Cooker Corn is not only easy but delicious.
As wonderful as fresh corn is during the summer, this Cheesy Slow Cooker Corn uses frozen corn. An item that is budget-friendly that we all have easy access to at all times of the year.
I had originally run across a recipe for slow cooker creamy corn in a magazine, it sounded good, it really did. But it didn’t quite sound like what I wanted to prepare so here is my spin.
Cheesy Slow Cooker Corn makes a great side served alongside grilled burgers sloppy joes or even Crockpot Pulled Pork. YUM!

What ingredients do you need to make Cheesy Slow Cooker Corn?
- Frozen Corn
- Cream Cheese
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder
- Milk
- Butter
Some tips for making Cheesy Slow Cooker Corn:
- Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- You can 1/2 the recipe if you need a smaller amount.
- Flavor enhancers to try: cooked and crumbled bacon, diced green chilies, salsa or french fried onions.
- Make sure you stir a few times during the cooking time to incorporate the cream cheese.
Simple steps for making Cheesy Slow Cooker Corn:
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients into the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Place lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 hours (time may vary depending on make/model of slow cooker). Stir a couple of times during cooking time.
Edges may be slightly browned if you prefer the edges browned increase cooking time by another 30 minutes.

What size crockpot did you use? (I’m wondering if this will fit in a 2 qt. crockpot?)

Linda I used a large 5 quart, but it only filled the bottom 1/3rd of it. I think you’d be fine using a smaller slow cooker. Enjoy:)
