One of the best things about fall would be all of the fantastic scents! All of the scents seem to blend so wonderfully together especially in the kitchen.
Slow Cooker Apple Cranberry Spice Cake is my first recipe for #Appleweek and it is so easy to make. If you love your slow cooker as I do, you’ll definitely want to give this recipe a whirl.
What I love about an easy slow cooker dessert such as Slow Cooker Apple Cranberry Spice Cake is smelling it cook. My house smelled so good!
This is perfect to throw together on a Sunday afternoon to have ready after Sunday dinner. It takes roughly 3 hours to “cook” in a crockpot.
Of course, when you make a “cake” in your slow cooker it isn’t a traditional cake. I’m pretty certain you won’t care what it’s called, it is yummy and that’s all that matters.
One of the amazing flavors in this tasty treat is vanilla. But not just any vanilla, I used Taylor & Colledge Organic Vanilla Bean Paste in this recipe. I adore the no-mess tube, what a true convenience! I’m definitely going to be adding a tube to my RV kitchen, much less messy than a bottle. Definitely check out the website, they have a lovely selection of pastes.

One of these days, I’m really going to have to try making a cake in a crock pot. This just looks so good!
Janice
Do you mix up the cake mix as called for on the package or use it dry?
Lori
Hi Janice, You do not mix the cake mix. It is used dry, with additional steps after adding it. Hope you enjoy!
