Today’s addition to #EasterBrunch Week is Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Waffles. A simple addition to brunch that everyone will gobble up.
Made with a simple batter, and a touch of sweet they are perfect for brunch. The oats add a nice texture, I love using oats in both waffle and pancake batter. The mini chocolate chips are a great size, they don’t make a huge melty mess since they are small.
Now, of course, you can drizzle Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Waffles with syrup or take it up two or three notches with chocolate syrup and maybe if you are really daring some whipped cream. BAM…dessert waffles!
You can’t make waffles without a waffle maker, and I have a new favorite waffle maker that I absolutely love. Hamilton Beach makes great small kitchen appliances (I have a few of them) and their waffle maker did the job for me effortlessly.
Flipping waffles during cooking make them crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. This flip waffle maker features nonstick, removable plates and adjustable browning control for your preferred finish.
Wanna know what I really like about this particular model? With the Hamilton Beach Belgium Waffle Maker, you can remove the non-stick removable plates and pop them into the dishwasher…hello, now that’s what makes this lady happy.
Make brunch prep even easier, try out the Hamilton Beach Egg Cooker. Don’t you love making things easier in the kitchen? I sure do!
