I’m always on the lookout for easy dinner, but yummy dinner. Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese is exactly that. You’re going to LOVE IT! I got out my Slow Cooker (you know that’s my favorite), found some AMAZING New Bread from Sara Lee® (You’re going to love Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread), and it took me 5 minutes to get the sandwiches together and have a fun dinner on the table.
Let’s face it – if your house is anything like mine, Grilled Cheese is where it’s at for dinner. It’s all fine and good, but my husband and I want a bit more from dinner. Buffalo Chicken? Added so much to making a simple meal fantastic – and honest it wasn’t that much more work! I LOVE MY SLOW COOKER!
Some of you probably know that I’m from New Jersey – my husband was born and raised here. This is important. Bread is VERY important on the East Coast – anyone going to back me up on this? My husband will not go back to a sandwich place if their bread is subpar. He won’t order a sandwich in Michigan (yes he’s that snobby). So I was SUPER excited to try out Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread.
Let me tell you a few things (obviously just go and get your own loaf of Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread for yourself because you’ll love it), but I need to say #1 My husband loved this bread. No joke. I win already. Another way I win? Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread has no artificial flavors, colors or high fructose corn syrup. Mom’s winning all over the place. It totally takes the place of having to run to a bakery. I don’t want to run to 5 stores for dinner, Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread is in the regular bread aisle in your grocery store, and I paid $2.99. ($2.99 is the average price). Again – just go get it! Make me some french toast (my next mission)!
So before I give you the amazing recipe for Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese made with Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread – it is National Grilled Cheese Month (my kids are so happy…ok and me too love it) let me give you 1 fun Grilled Cheese Tip. If you’re making a Grilled Cheese like mine – with additional toppings besides cheese – do yourself a favor: Grill the two slices to they are crisp and delicious, then move the sandwiches (open faced) into a 350 Degree oven for 2-3 minutes to finish melting the cheese. It worked SO WELL and tasted SO GOOD! Yum. Grilled Cheese.
Tell me what you’re making for yummy Grilled Cheese Month? Make Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese for sure! Send me a picture of you and your Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread Grilled Cheese!
