Grapefruit Gin Fizz
Summertime sipping is one of my favorite times! Okay, well once in a while you can start in the spring, but once again (broken record here) I’m in Michigan and it’s nearly May and we woke up to snow on the ground. So my deck won’t be utilized for sipping a cocktail tonight.
But once the weather has drastically improved and stays that way, I love sitting on the deck enjoying a peaceful evening with a yummy cocktail. Today I’m sharing a new cocktail to Who Needs A Cape? one that is really easy to make and has all kinds of flavor.
Introducing the Grapefruit Gin Fizz cocktail, 3 simple ingredients which blend into one very sippable adult beverage. I’ve been on a huge citrus kick lately, all things lime, lemon, orange, and grapefruit. I adore the tartness of sour citrus and frequently buy bags of citrus fruits. So much so that I’m often running against the clock trying to use them up before they turn bad.
This Grapefruit Gin Fizz comes together so easily, you can make one, two, or even put your multiplication skills to use and make a pitcher. This cocktail would make a nice addition to brunch alongside some juices and coffee. A nice offering for the 21+ crowd.
