Ravioli Lasagna takes your normal pasta dinner and makes it incredible!
You know that Lori and I consider ourselves Casserole QUEENS! Yes we do. and to be honest – YES WE ARE! Well here’s a new version – welcome Ravioli Lasagna. You are going to love this casserole and you’re going to thank me!
Italian night at my house is sort of sacred (which is funny since we are Dutch, Scottish and Irish). We LOVE our pasta and we are always looking to take dinner up a notch – or at least change up what we usually have. Making Ravioli into Lasagna? That is changing it up and kicking it up a notch. You’re going to love this.
The best part of making Ravioli Lasagna? I get all the Lasagna flavor but I don’t have to do any of the annoying parts. You know no one likes working with Lasagna noodles – they are awkward and weird. NO ONE likes spreading the Ricotta. Now you don’t have to. You have both inside of the Ravioli – so you get this awesome flavor but so much easier!
How do you make a great Lasagna Casserole?
- Either make your own sauce or buy a great sauce. Don’t buy the sale – buy what’s good!
- Get GREAT cheese. Yes the more expensive parmesan is truly worth it
- Make the layers worth it. You don’t need to stuff too much in – but don’t be skimpy either (I like a lot of sauce)
With all of that said? Even buying the higher end ingredients – this dinner shouldn’t cost too much to make – which makes it a favorite in my house.
You know here at Who Needs a Cape? we always have you covered for your recipe needs! So of course if you like the sound of Ravioli Lasagna – I have a couple more suggestions for you!

I made this recipe for supper today. It was absolutely DELICIOUS !! I used a combination of stuffed ravioli – Spinach & Cheese ravioli and Cheese & Portobello Mushroom ravioli (I also added some fresh cremini mushrooms to the layers. I used a really flavorful spaghetti sauce that is available where i live – Classico spaghetti sauce w/Italian Sausage, Peppers & Onions – i will DEFINITELY make this again .
Thank you for putting this recipe out there. Much appreciated.

I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed!!! I LOVE the idea of mushrooms in there 😉
