Swamp Potion
BOO! Are you excited that Halloween is just around the corner? Hardly seems possible, but yet here we are!
In fact just yesterday we headed to Cedar Point Amusement Park for one of their Halloweekends. The Halloween decorations were amazing, they must have brought in at least a million pumpkins. There was so much to do and see, my kids had a blast participating in all the fall-related festivities on top of riding the rides. It was truly a fun and slightly spooky day!
With all the Halloween excitement in full-swing we can’t wait to debut our latest Halloween treat, Swamp Potion! We’re debuting it today as part of the 4th Annual 30 Days of Halloween celebration.
With a new Halloween treat or craft each day for a month there’s something for every ghoul, goblin, and ghost. Be sure to scroll down to the very bottom of this post as all will be linked so don’t miss a single one.
Swamp Potion is an easy drink for having some Halloween fun with the family. You can certainly serve it to a crowd in an eerie punchbowl, just multiply the recipe by however many people you plan on serving.
I added the whipped cream onto the sherbet prior to the lemon-lime Kool-Aid being poured on top. It added another eerie ooey layer to the drink!
My kids loved the dangling gummy worms, they added a fun touch. I found the fun beaker style glassware while strolling through Michaels one day, I thought they added a fun touch.
You can also change up the recipe and use orange sherbet and orange Kool-Aid, get creative. Halloween is always so much fun, food is just another fun element we can all enjoy!
