This method of prep is really easy and not messy. That’s only one of the reasons I like this recipe. The other reason is that even though summer is a time of supposed leisure, some summer days are just so busy that you need to get parts of dinner done ahead of time. Setting the timer on your slow cooker is such a beautiful thing! I know that dinner is preparing while I’m out enjoying the day.
I simply ripped pieces of aluminum foil right off the roll, but since this post I picked up the pre-cut sheets of aluminum foil at the dollar store. Please be careful opening up the foil wrapped corn on the cob after removing from your slow cooker, it will be incredibly hot.
