I love to dip. I order food based on the sauce that comes with it and I need extra sauce on the side please so I can dip! I’m a definite dipper.
When I have parties, go to parties, or get togethers I really think there always needs to be a variety of dips. We usually do a reverse happy hour. People come over, we have a drink and a snack but then it’s right to dinner. After dinner (especially if we are having another cocktail) I bring out the snacks. I call it reverse happy hour because we’re doing it after dinner.
Last year I was looking for appetizer ideas for Christmas. We spent last Christmas at my parents and the day is never ending. We have one big meal (usually more lunch) and then the rest of the day we hang out, open presents, snack, open presents, snack, etc. So I wanted something easy (not my kitchen!) and delicious. And, something that we could easily pick at. And I found this recipe for a feta cheese ball. After a few (minor) changes I turned it into more of a dip than a ball and here it is!
