These tasty morsels will be the hit of any party. I can promise you. I’m not proposing any earth shattering recipe here, but who cares as long as they taste fantastic right?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to have parties or just people over informally with tasty snacks. But, they need to be tasty!
So here is a very easy (although I can’t lie to you it does take a few minutes) recipe that everyone will gobble up. You can prepare them ahead of time, refrigerate and pop them in the oven and voila! You are a hero.
All you need is:
Scallops (don’t buy bay just sea)
Some really tasty bacon (This is not the time for turkey bacon, or super cheap, get good bacon.)
toothpicks
Wrap each and every scallop with a piece or half piece of bacon. Secure with tooth pick. Insert tray of scallops into oven with the broiler on and place the scallops on the top rack. Cook until the bacon looks crispy, turning over after about 7 minutes. (depending on your broiler/oven you may have to cook longer to get the bacon nice and crispy!)
Like I said, so incredibly easy, but yes, wrapping each scallop will take you a bit.
I, in all complete honesty, did not make a dip. I meant to, but I was doing other things and just simply ran out of time. So I will help you out, here are a couple of links to a few recipes for amazing sounding dips. I would love a dip with these, but at the same time not one single person missed the dip and these yummies were gone in a flash.

I love this things! And while they may be a little time consuming on the front side as far as wrapping them goes, they are totally worth it!
