Frozen Blueberry Margarita
Until summer hits, which is a long way off here in Michigan I’m resorting to any means necessary to have a “summer” vibe. We scraped the snow off of the grill and made burgers and hot dogs last week. And the temps crept up just enough over the weekend that I unearthed a lighter coat to wear, if only for a couple of days.
Snow is coming again tomorrow, but hey March in Michigan means a mixed bag. What does that mean? Some days you’ll start off wearing winter boots and wind up wearing flip flops. Oh well, it’s only weather, not anything in our control.
One way I’m breaking out of the wintery funk of January and February is enjoying some fruity cocktails. My new favorite is a Frozen Blueberry Margarita. Not only is it a deep rich amazing color, but it’s also pretty sippable and delicious.
You can make this Frozen Blueberry Margarita in two different ways. Fully frozen, completely blended in your blender, or you can blend the frozen berries and mix as a traditional cocktail in a cocktail shaker. The choice is yours.
