You knew I would have to make SOMETHING awesome with my Coffee Vodka right?  Yup I did.  I needed a Mochatini.  I love a chocolate martini – I do – but a Mochatini? Even better!  With a little hint of coffee in there, yum it’s a perfect after dinner or dessert cocktail!  Coffee and chocolate just go together in my opinion – and the Mochatini is the best combination of all.

As a note, I use Tia Maria in this which is a coffee and vanilla flavored liqueur.  If you don’t have it, but have Kahlua? That’s fine too.  And honestly, if you don’t have it?  Use more coffee vodka – the coffee taste is the important part.  I pick Tia Maria cause 1 – I own some, and 2 I just like it!

So get out your martini shakers and lets enjoy this together ok?

This looks like my kind of cocktail! How many servings in the recipe?

  2. Yum! I love martinis like this. I recently made a coffee rum very similar to your coffee vodka. It’s so much better than anything store bought and much stronger (I can sweeten it as much or as little as I want too). I’ve been experimenting with drinks similar to this one. They are so good…sometimes I even drop a piece of chocolate in for a surprise when the drink is empty 🙂

    • I agree with making your own flavored vodka (or rum). It’s SO much better than store bought!

and I am LOVING the chocolate hidden in the bottom 😉 YUM
