These Spooky Halloween Drinks use TEN Soda, save calories without losing flavor. Orange Scream-sicle Cocktail and Swamp Juice will be huge party hits.
That oh so spooky, but yet oh so fun time of the year is approaching again, Halloween! If your family is anything like mine, we love combining holidays with fun food and drinks. Now since we have little ones at our house we keep Halloween on the fun/cutesy side vs. the over the top creepy side. Our little ones were both old enough this year to help with some of the planning and I just knew we had to make it both a fun and memorable time for them. My head started spinning with all sorts of fun ideas to help us celebrate with fun food and drinks.
My first creation is “Swamp Juice” a fun, non-alcoholic Halloween beverage for the little ghouls in your life (or those that prefer non-alcoholic beverages). So easy to prepare and super delicious! Instead of making individual beverages for our celebration, I used containers that would hold a few servings. Since these beverages contain sherbet and it melts, you don’t want to make too much. You can easily refill as needed by adding more 7-UP TEN and sherbet.
Swamp Juice
7-UP TEN Soda
Lime Sherbet
Ice (if desired)
Directions: Depending upon the size of your beverage container, adjust amounts needed. For a 8 cup container I used 6 cups of 7-UP TEN Soda (ice if desired) and 4 ice cream scoops of sherbet. Add sherbet to liquid and it will “bubble” up giving an eerie appearance.
Now for the big ghosts at your celebration, I decided to offer up “Orange Scream-sicle Cocktails“! Fun, right? Using Sunkist TEN, orange sherbet and a touch of Pinnacle Whipped Vodka you’ll find yourself with a fun adult beverage that will leave you screaming because it is so good! Once again, I made a few servings at once in a small vessel so the sherbet didn’t melt too quickly.
