Yes, Drunk Fruit Salad. It’s delicious. And, at least in my book, still healthy! YEA!
With Summer beginning to peak out, I wanted to make something for the BBQ’s and picnics that lay ahead. Something fun for the adults (all I see on Pinterest is fun food for the kids – which is awesome all about that – but this time it’s the adults turn). So I turned my thoughts to alcohol and fruit. YUM!
You should already know with a name like Drunk Fruit Salad, but this is NOT ok for the kids to eat. The strawberries and pineapple got REALLY drunk (I love them for that). The grapes – did not get as drunk. If you want them as drunk – cut them in half. I was ok with partially drunk grapes being whole 🙂
Drunk Fruit Salad does count as being a healthy side dish right? Can we count it as our fruit for the day? I’m totally voting yes for this! HA!
