This almost no-bake Creamy Peanut Butter Pie is easy to prepare and oh so yummy! With a homemade crust a layer of peanut butter and a creamy filling, yum!
My daughter Madison’s 16th birthday rolled around recently. Yes, this is the daughter who does not like chocolate, no way, no how, she does not like it! So, when it came time for her to decide what type of birthday dessert she’d like this year (yes, we all get to choose what we want for our birthday dessert) she said “Peanut Butter Pie“. No problem, mom will hook you up!
This is a mostly “no bake” dessert, the crust only bakes for a matter of 10 short minutes, and if you are really pinched for time, use a store-bought graham cracker crust. You can also use chunky peanut butter but we prefer smooth around here. Now, if I’m plating a piece of this pie for anyone other than said birthday girl, I always add a touch of chocolate sauce, because I am a chocolate & peanut butter addict. You can’t go wrong with a dollop of homemade whipped cream either! Enjoy!

Notes
**This makes one very large pie or two smaller pies. My pie pan is a deep dish pie pan, if you are using a standard pie pan I would suggest making 2 pies or half the recipe.**

I am a peanut butter fanatic and love peanut butter pie. Mine is pretty much the same recipe except for that layer of melted peanut butter! WOW! Totally elevated it. Although, I wasn’t planning on making it and didn’t have any heavy whipping cream, so I used a tub of Cool Whip I had in the freezer. So yummy.

I just made the creamy peanut butter pie. Does anyone know if this could be frozen? If so, would there be any special instructions? I am going to take this to a house party in 3 days, will it keep or should I freeze it. Thanking you in advise for your help.

Hi! I love the simplicity of this recipe but I find it’s not sweet enough. What do recommend to add?
