Banana Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins a great breakfast treat or snack. Loads of fruity flavor, make a batch and you’ll have a new family favorite.
My kids like muffins, a lot and not just for breakfast, they are great for snacks! Mom likes muffins too because you can load in a bunch of fruit and create yummy combos which the kids gobble up. That makes me so happy – I love hiding (although come on it’s not super hidden) fruit in what my kiddos eat – and I love that they eat home made treats…it all feels more wholesome than opening a package right?
Banana Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins are a favorite of mine because you can use a bunch of overly ripe bananas. You know the ones that you can buy for next to nothing at the market or the ones sitting on your counter about ready to get ugly, real ugly. Mash them up & no one will be the wiser that you transformed a beast into a beauty! I don’t know about you – but I always have a few bananas that are ready to be baked with!
So another reason I love muffins? They are the best to pack in school lunches. Get a little home made goodness in the lunch box and my kids view it as a treat. Banana Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins are amazing in their lunches (and mine) so they are amazing to have on hand…or on counter I should say! I also like to throw these in the freezer in bags so I can pop them into a lunch box when I am in a bind.
