How to Make a Great Stocking for Boys
HoHoHo! The holiday season is in full swing and I’m here today to help you make it as easy as possible. I like to get a head start on stocking stuffers.
Stocking stuffers aren’t something I like to wait until the last minute to shop for. Santa aka ME, fills a lot of stockings in our house. We have 6 kids and then there’s the dog and my hubby. For me, there’s nothing worse than scrambling at the last minute to fill stockings. Let’s try to avoid that, and I’m here to zone in on stockings for boys specifically.
In years past I’ve struggled with what to fill into our boys’ stockings. For some reason, my girls’ stockings always have too much and are overflowing.
This year I stopped into Walmart to load up on Slim Jim Snack Sticks plus everything else I needed to finish up my stocking stuffer shopping. Brilliant, right? We frequently purchase Slim Jim Snack Sticks, so I figured why not add something that’s a proven winner into their stockings.
I found a handy 26 count box of Slim Jim Smoked Snack Sticks in the snack meat section of Walmart. They are conveniently individually wrapped, so you can either throw a few into their stocking or an entire package.
Slim Jim meat sticks use spicy beef, pork, and chicken because beefy appetites require an even beefier snack. With 7 grams of protein, Slim Jim snack sticks make a great grab and go snack. Perfect for the busy kids in my life!
Items to add to boys stockings:
- Slim Jim Smoked Snack Sticks
- Earbuds
- Funky socks
- Gift cards
- Ornaments
- Baseballs
- Holiday t-shirt
- Winter hats & gloves
One of my sons, in particular, is very artistic, to his stocking I added in a small sketchbook and some fun colored pencils. For my other son, I included a stress ball and some small items with his favorite team’s logo on them.
Now we also have a future son-in-law who I wanted to include. Of course, I picked up a box of Slim Jim snack sticks for him too. And my husband, I certainly can’t forget him! The stockings are filled and hung by the chimney with care, and boy oh boy I can’t wait for Christmas morning! Happy Holidays!
