Summertime Refreshment with Fruttare Bars

Kids and summertime fun, they just go hand in hand!  From swimming, to biking, to blowing bubbles and kicking a ball around, all that fun in the summer heat also means their little bodies need refreshment. During those hot summer days you want something refreshing and delicious!

Summertime Refreshment with Fruttare Bars
I was thrilled to find a wonderful assortment of Fruttare Fruit Bars in the freezer section at my local Kroger store.  There’s a whopping 10 varieties to choose from, so there’s a flavor for everyone.  I chose 2 flavors that I just knew would be hits at our house, Strawberry and Mango!  For my next trip to purchase, I already have a couple of flavors in mind that I can’t wait to try.

After awhile of outdoor playtime, my kids were in need of a break and a snack.  This afforded us the perfect time to sit down and enjoy our Strawberry and Mango flavors of Fruttare Fruit Bars.  The kids couldn’t wait to dig and guess what?  They loved them, didn’t take long at all before the bars were history.

Now if you know a thing or two about kids and summer, you’ll know that they’ll wanna get right back to playing.  Nothing slows them down, except…when they’d like another snack.  After finishing their Fruttare Fruit Bars, I had the kids save their sticks.  I then rinsed off the stickiness and told them that we’d use the sticks for our next snack.  When the time came for the next snacktime, we used our sticks to create mini fruit skewers.  The leftover Fruttare Fruit Bar sticks worked great, they have rounded ends, so no one got hurt skewering the snacks onto their sticks.  I had an assortment of fresh fruit and marshmallows on a tray.  For a fun touch, I took a small flower cookie cutter and cut out flower shapes from rice krispie treats and sugar cookies.  They girls had a great time creating their own mini fruit skewers, it was so much fun!

Watching your kids play on a beautiful summer day, enjoying  lots of refreshing snacks, that ranks pretty high in my book of the best things in life.  Add in some tropical tunes playing in the background, now that’s even better.  Luckily for you, Fruttare is offering a great deal for purchases made July 1-31, 2014.  Buy any Fruttare item, visit this site HERE and redeem your music reward (a $4 value), while supplies last.

Our family truly enjoyed Fruttare Fruit Bars, this refreshing treat is great for hot summer days, warm evenings and special times with family and friends.  We evenSummertime Refreshment with Fruttare Bars had a sighting of the elusive creature known as a teenager enjoying her own Fruttare Fruit Bar, now that is truly a rare occasion.
