Why buy from the store when you can make your own Homemade Bagel Chips right in your own kitchen? Perfect for dips, I love them!
So we’ve all been there, bought bagels but didn’t get them all eaten soon enough. You reach into the bag & they are starting to become brick-like, not good for the dental work! Perfect solution is to take those semi-hardened bagels and make homemade bagel chips. Yes, you can buy them at the store too, but they are so simple and easy, why not take advantage of those bagels and make some in your own kitchen. First of all you’ll know what’s in these, nothing funky and two, it is a frugal way of using up leftover bagels and making something yummy!
I prefer the savory flavored bagels, but my daughter likes the sweeter flavors, so depending on what flavors you choose that will determine if you flavor them. The variety I used for this recipe is Asiago flavored bagels, so I only olive oil and sea salt on them and we happily dipped them in Spinach Dip. If you use a sweeter variety like cinnamon raisin, you may want to just use olive oil and then you can dip into whipped cream cheese. Experiment, you’ll find the perfect flavors and the best part these are quick, easy and frugal family favorite!

This recipe is perfect for an easy snack and makes a nice change from traditional chips and dip. I love that it is so versatile, with different flavor options. The crispiness of these would make them super addicting.
