One recipe you have to try is my Sugar Free Fruit Dip. I used my SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener and here’s the back story on stevia…Stevia leaf extract comes from the leaves of the stevia plant (so natural hooray!). The leaves are harvested, dried, and then steeped in water. Then this liquid is processed to allow the intense sweetening components, including Rebaudioside D (Reb D) extract, to be isolated, purified and dried. Which makes it sweet and delish. What I love about this fruit dip is…
- That it really satisfied my need for a sweet in the afternoon.
- I used some awesome sugar free yogurt so it has the health benefits of yogurt too.
- I used yogurt so you can change up the flavor every time.

Making a dip is a great way to encourage kids to eat more veggies and fruits. I love this recipe because it doesn’t contain sugar and it’s easy to make as well. It’s perfect as an after school snack!

Being a diabetic, I have to be very careful with my sugar intake. I am glad that there is a better alternative to enjoy sweet treats without the guilt. I have been using a different brand that has Stevia extract as its main ingredient. I will give Splenda a try too.
