Ever looked down at your jewelry and noticed it wasn’t shiny? Worse yet, ever noticed your jewelry was flat out dirty while wearing it? Ā IĀ sureĀ have! Ā For me, summer is loads of fun but along with that fun comes gook…and by gook I mean, slathering on sunscreen, rubbing in bug repellent, weeding my flower beds, picking up dirty/sandy toys and yes, I’ll admit to it SWEAT! Ā All of those things combined have left my everyday jewelry gook covered and in need of a good cleaning.

Luckily, I have a great solution for all of our followers, and you won’t need any special equipment or fancy ingredients! Ā Just 2 simple ingredients and you’ll be on your way to sparkly clean jewelry once again! Head to your kitchen and I bet you have ingredient #1 PalmoliveĀ already on-hand,Ā Ā and surely you’ll have ingredient #2 also, Ā good old water! Ā Palmolive is a kitchen staple, and is gentle on hands, so you can be assured it will also be gentle on your precious jewelry. Ā Now before dipping your beloved jewels into this Simple 2 Ingredient Jewelry Cleaner it is advised you check with your jeweler or the manufacturer just to make sure that they agree.

There are 4 easy steps to clean jewelry, it doesn’t get much easier than this!
Simple 2 Ingredient Jewelry Cleaner | Who Needs A Cape?

  1. Add a couple drops of Palmolive to 2 cups of warm water.
  2. Soak jewelry for 15 minutes, use soft brush to gently scrub if necessary.
  3. Rinse jewelry in clean water.
  4. Wipe dry on soft towel or old t-shirt. Then sit back and admire the sparkle!
