An easy cocktail to make that has great flavor – the Orange Absolution Cocktail is a wonderful drink to make! Easy, make it and serve it soon!

I love finding new cocktails!  I stick with my favorites a lot, but it’s just so fun to find a new one.  Flipping through one of my bartending books (yes I have them) I found a recipe for a drink called “Absolution”.  BEST NAME EVER!  So – in typical Heather fashion I changed it up a bit to be more suited to my flavors and came up with the Orange Absolution.

This drink is something ANYONE can make I promise.  And it has champagne….and vodka…it’s delish!  So next time you’re having a happy hour at home give it a try!

Orange Absolution is a wonderful drink to entertain with.  It doesn’t take a lot of mixing or work to prepare – just chill the vodka and champagne before making!  There is no ice in there to keep the drink cold.  Have it for your next dinner party!

Ingredients

• 1 ounce of Orange Vodka (chilled would be best)
• 5 ounces champagne (chilled)
• Lime rind for garnish

Instructions

1. Pour 1 ounce of orange vodka into a champagne flute
2. Add in champagne and garnish
3. Serve immediately
