Whether you are looking to help your dry skin or making Christmas gifts you’ll love Lime Coconut Body Scrub! The smell is phenomenal!
Dry skin has found me, the older I get, the drier my skin has become. Not something I’m fond of. Looks ucky, feels scaly & isn’t healthy. I’m always lotioning up, moisturizing, exfoliating, doing everything this side of dipping myself into a vat of lotion. Scrubs are great, I’m always drawn towards the fancy-shmancy sounding names, and the wonderful combination of scents. But then, my frugal side rears its head and I slap myself on the hand, back away and save myself a few bucks. I spend all sorts of time in the kitchen anyway, why not take less than 5 minutes & whip up a batch at home?
I found this particular scent combination on Pinterest, and knew right there & then that Lime Coconut Body Scrub it would be! Especially when everything I need is already in my kitchen, that’s a no-brainer. 3 ingredients & in no time at all you have your very own batch of scrub. I like to keep mine in the refrigerator after preparing, although I have read online that some leave theirs out at room temp, it’ll just be a soupier consistency. Just make sure you set it out to warm up to room temp before you are ready to use.

Are you serious? Is it really this easy? What have I been waiting for?! I too have terrible dry skin and out here in the desert the next few months will be worse. I’m so pinning this for next weekend! Thanks for the inspiration!
Lori
It is this easy! Just make sure if you do refrigerate allow enough time for it to get to room temp. Enjoy your silky smooth skin 🙂

Is there anything coconut oil can’t do?! My husband made this for me when you first posted it.
Nadja
this is great!
how long do you think you can store it for?
Lori
Nadia, I do not have an exact answer on this. Since it is refrigerated, it will last a couple of months. I’ve always used mine within 2 months though, then made more 🙂
