If there’s one thing you learn as a parent is that as your child grows so does their appetite. Having been through all the stages of parenting from diapers to kid graduating from college I’ve seen it all. I’ve been stocking my pantry for years with all sorts of snacks and food items. I’ve also experienced the “bottomless pit” syndrome of growing boys. And with these growing boys and their unending need for food, it always seems there’s a friend or two tagging along who inevitably are also “bottomless pits.

So when I find an item that helps better fill that hunger in my kids, I stock up. I’m now stocking our pantry at Walmart with Nature Valley XL Bars. Have you tried these? Let me tell you they are fantastic for big kids and teens, FANTASTIC! These are growing kids and they need fuel! Nature Valley XL Bars are 50% larger than regular Nature Valley bars, which means they get more in their bodies fueling them up.

You can find Nature Valley XL Bars right in the same aisle at Walmart as regular Nature Valley Bars. I picked up two varieties this past shopping trip: Nature Valley XL Sweet & Salty Chocolate Nut & Seed Chewy Granola Bars and Nature Valley XL Protein Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Bars. They are both well liked around here. There’s other tasty varieties available too: Nature Valley XL Sweet & Salty Peanut Chewy Granola Bars, Nature Valley XL Protein Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Bars and Nature Valley XL Protein Mixed Nuts Bars.

And just LOOK at that bar…packed full of good stuff. WHOA, that’s a lot of deliciousness! Salty peanuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds mixed with semi-sweet chocolate chunks! What’s not to love here? A bigger bar that satisfies hunger is perfect for my on the go kids.

My kids are doing so much in school and in their extra curricular activities these days.  Knowing that I have a snack that satisfies hunger just a reach away in the pantry makes me feel good. As they are heading out the door they can grab and go, fuel up and get moving with Nature Valley XL Bars.
