I love using things that are different to sweeten our family treats. And Honey is top on my list. My boys are obsessed with honey (we use it as sweetener, as cough medicine, you name it.). So using delicious Don Victor Honey? It was a no brainer. First – I have to say that I have never eaten honeycomb before (I’m going to have to try it on toast next – you can easily spread it on)! Holy cow I didn’t know what I was missing – it’s a really nice treat! (did you know you could eat it?) Yes I realize that honey has natural sugar – but Don Victor Honey is raw and not processed. That puts it up on my list!
^Look at that amazing Honey & Honeycomb!
Don Victor Honey really lived up to my expectations. I went to Walmart and it was located in the Hispanic Baking section (check it out there!). The honey was rich and delicious and did an amazing job at sweetening my dip. I still have a bit left and I can’t wait to see what else I can put it in. You’re going to need to get some!
I wanted to try something different this year. When setting out the desserts for the holidays I decided that we needed a dessert dip. I love dips. For appetizers, for desserts and yes even for dinner. So I came up with the delicious Honey Pumpkin Dessert Dip. The Don Victor Honey gave it the perfect amount of sweetness (and I just love honey flavor so it was amazing). And the dip factor was great for a dessert table. You can sneak a bite whenever you want! No fork required. And I got to highlight (and EAT) the honeycomb from the Don Victor Honey. YUM all the way around.

I wanted a completely easy recipe – the holidays are HARD ENOUGH! So this was more or less a dump recipe. Use 1 8oz block of cream cheese, 1 normal (not the extra large) can of pumpkin puree, and about a half of jar or Don Victor Honey (save the honeycomb for the top!)
Use your hand mixer and mix. Mix until everything is mixed in and perfect (It took me a few minutes). Did I mention the best part of this recipe is that it’s no bake? Who’s your favorite blogger now?
Once you have it all mixed together, carefully place the honeycomb on top (be careful it’s fragile and you want it to be beautiful). It’s so easy to slice into that all you need it a dip knife in the dip and people can top their crackers with it.
So tell me – which holiday are you going to use this for? Have you ever eaten the honeycomb before? How do you eat it? Shout it out on the comments!
