Summer is almost here, are you ready to #RockYourLegs ?
With summer approaching quickly, my summer bucket list is getting longer and longer. So many great things to do when the weather is nice and the days are long. Spending time outdoors, mini family adventures, fun times with family and friends those are all things I’m looking forward to. I’m also looking forward to having a couple of date nights with my husband. We rarely get time to get out just the 2 of us and summer opens up our calendars a bit so we can spend some extra time together.
When I do get a special night out, I’m excited from the get go! Usually that means wearing something a little nicer than my everyday clothes, maybe even a skirt and some strappy sandals…shocking I know! Getting ready also includes putting my best leg forward, which means what? It means I may just get to spend more than 3 minutes getting ready in the morning. You know that routine, the one where you have kids making multiple appearances in the bathroom while you are just trying to get ready for the day. You shower, dress and barely look in the mirror and hit the road running for the day.
Taking time to get myself ready for an evening out includes a tiny bit of pampering, first that may mean a scented candle in the bathroom for some relaxing scents, maybe even some tunes playing from my phone and then some essentials.
