Make your own frozen treat this summer – Strawberry {no ice cream maker needed} Ice Cream is a delicious snack that is healthy and tasty!
Strawberry {no ice cream maker needed} Ice Cream is a definite keeper. My family gobbles up ice cream and they would eat it 5 times a day if I allowed it. So I was looking for a healthier – not so horrible for you version of “ice cream” and came up with this. It’s easy to make and it fills the need of something sweet, creamy and cold.
The sugar in the recipe is optional – but I put it in. Compared to regular ice cream and all it’s calories – I had no problem sweetening this up a tad. I’m sure some people wouldn’t need it.
If desired, you can place the finished product in the freezer to stiffen it up a bit – I’d suggest 20 minutes or so. Any left overs can of course be put in the freezer but the texture will change – just as a note. We made it and ate it – no left overs needed!
