Cue the sad music, my daughter heads back to college next week…yes next week! She’s beginning her third year and loves her school, but mom is struggling yet again with the distance. Her university is nearly 10 hours from home, no less in a remote location of northern Michigan. An area that gets pounded by Mother Nature beginning in October and lasting until nearly May. Her university has the distinction of being the “snowiest” university in the USA! Yes, beating out Alaska of all places.

With the distance being so great there aren’t many trips home for her or likewise us traveling to visit her. That’s why I’m sharing a few items that I recently received via Babbleboxx. Items which are wonderful for college students, let me breakdown what we received.

Viv & Lou: Throw Blanket

There’s nothing like the comfort of a plush throw, especially when you are far from home and in a frigid climate. This throw is absolutely perfect for curling up under and reading a book in your dorm room. 100% polyester (easy laundering), monogram or personalization is free upon ordering. Personalized gifts are great for college students, dorm items can often get left in other areas of school.

EZneeds is one stop shopping to stock up easily! Yes, I shopped online for products that get delivered right to my daughter. She has NO time to shop at school between being a full-time student and running her own business. Plus she’s in an area with very few stores. Ezneeds helped me fix that situation. NO membership is required, I easily found brand name items that she uses (as do her roommates)! Spend $50 and shipping is FREE, arriving within 1-3 days.  EZneeds = everyday needs delivered!

I love boxes that you open with no clue what’s in them! One of the reasons I can’t wait for my son to go off to college. I’m going to be THAT mom that they can’t wait for the monthly box to come! lol.

I would love something like this when I was in college. I do know a lot of people that are going to college this year so I may have to send them a box like this. I know they would love it.

My daughter started college this year, but we live close enough to the state college that she can live at home. She would love this box full of goodies.

All my three children enrolled in a university about half an hour’s drive from home, so they did not have to stay in a dorm. I would be worried sick if any of them had to stay that far away from me! Well, I am happy that your daughter will be in her junior year in college. Soon, you will be reaping the fruits of your labor. It shows in your care package how well you take care of her.
