Beat the Winter Blues with a Winter Weekend Getaway to Kalahari Resorts Sandusky! Just a short drive away providing great family activities.

Here’s a little piece of information you may or may not be aware of. Residents of SE Michigan like myself only enjoyed 2 days of sunshine during the month of January 2017. YES, 2 DAYS!!! The winter blues set in hard for myself and so many others during that very long first month of 2017. I repeatedly remarked to my husband that it was just so gloomy, feeling much gloomier than the average month of January. The news then validated that simple fact to the residents of SE Michigan. No wonder everyone I know felt like hibernating. We need some sun in these parts!

Until Mother Nature cooperates, I have a simple solution that will help brush off the gloomies from winter in the midwest. Book a Winter Weekend Getaway at nearby Kalahari Resorts Sandusky! Yes, just a short drive into Ohio will transport you to an indoor oasis for children or all ages.

Yikes! Only 2 days of sunshine is brutal! We’ve gotten some serious cold with negative temps and tons of snow, but at least we’ve had more sunshine than that.
That said, I would LOVE to go someplace warm, and Kalahari looks amazing!

We used to go to Sandusky’s Cedar Point every summer. It is such a wonderful town. I am so happy to see that they have Kalahari resort there. This gateaway sounds perfect and I will definitely visit there the next time I am In Sandusky.
