Sweet Apples and Biscuits are an easy after school treat or a dessert that the entire family will devour. Easy to make, you’ll love these.
It’s that time of year again! Â Back to school! Â I’m so excited (seriously love school and all the fun we have because of it). Â It also means it’s time to think about how we can help the school, keep the programs going, and do anything we can to get the teachers the supplies that they need.
Take it from me – Box Tops for Education™ is the EASIEST way you can support your school.  It’s fantastic.
Truth is right now, General Mills® is making Box Tops for Education™ even BETTER!  There are specially marked packages at Walmart that have 5 Box Tops PER BOX!  WOOHOO!  And let’s be honest – we were going to shop at Walmart and buy General Mills food anyways – now you have more incentive!
Okay down to the nitty gritty of why I’m finding Box Tops for Education™ so easy (and fantastic) and then I’ll get to the yummy after school snack (or is it a dessert?).  Here’s a few things that I’m loving Box Tops for Education™ and I’m sure you’ll love them too!  1 – Box Tops are worth $.10 (ps: this means by purchasing the special General Mills 5 Box Tops per item at Walmart?  Those items are worth $.50 to your school!  Pretty awesome!) 2 – Schools can use Box Tops for cash to buy WHATEVER they want (teachers are going to love us!) and 3 – Box Tops have contributed over $525 MILLION since starting in 1996.
Alright – so if you can’t use your Box Tops save them for a friend! Â But, one more awesome thing about Box Tops? They are used at over 80,000 K-8 schools! Â Chances are you’ll be able to use yours to help your children’s education.
I bought a few things that we needed. Â Cereal, bars, and then I decided I would make my boys a great treat for after school. Â This doesn’t happen every day in our house, but sometimes you just need a surprise treat when you get home. Â So I picked up some Pillsbury Grand’s Flaky Layers rolls and a few other ingredients so I could make this happen. Â I’m pretty busy (with work and kids) and that’s why I shop at Walmart. Â I got everything I needed and was out of there!
