It’s FINALLY HERE! My favorite season. People will stop giving me weird looks for humming Jingle Bells (to be fair I sing it in July…). No one will yell at me for decorating (as soon as Halloween is done my tree is up). It’s Christmas Season you guys and I’m ready to spread some cheer. Hold on to your hats, I’m going to show you how to Elf someone and spread the Christmas Cheer and I’m going to give you an amazing recipe for No Bake Peanut Butter Cookie Balls that you can use to Elf or just to eat! Keep reading!
Who’s helping us Elf our friends and neighbors??? American Greetings! You got it! I LOVE them and I LOVE their stuff! Also? They are having a Sweepstakes! YES Another reason to love them! Make sure to go enter!
American Greetings #MerryAndBright Sweepstakes
I skipped to Walmart (yes you guys at Christmas I skip – I’m THAT lady in the store). They have everything I need to Elf my neighbor (so fun!) from American Greetings supplies and M&M’s Fun Size (for the Elf bag!). Everything I need in one store (plus I grabbed all the ingredients that I needed to make No Bake Peanut Butter Cookie Balls!). It was a perfect trip to Walmart!
WAIT you guys – check out this super sweet offer from Ibotta for American Greetings! Don’t go shopping without it!
So after gathering all I needed to Elf my neighbor (I love this woman. I took the boys to my family and she brought my husband dinner one night) I came home to build a fun Elf Bag! I wanted her to be Elfed in a fun way! American Greetings had everything that I needed to create my Elf Bag. I wanted to give my neighbor a few cute things – the bag I got was ADORABLE – and I decided to get matching tissue paper! I stood in the aisle for like 10 minutes, I wanted it all! I also got my neighbor a two pack of American Greetings Wrapping paper – what do you always need? WRAPPING PAPER – hey in your bag? Throw in the tape too (you know you always run out!).
So let me break this down for you. You’re going to enjoy doing this – I’m always in the holiday spirit, but this pushed me over the edge. AND to be honest, I loved doing it with my kiddos. Teaching them it’s NOT all about toys under the tree – think of your friends, family, neighbors and spread some cheer! Here’s what I stuffed my bag with:
- I bought a great American Greetings Bag with matching tissue paper
- a two pack of American Greetings set of wrapping paper
- Tape (for wrapping)
- A super cute American Greetings little-stuffed animal (it’s next to the wrapping paper you can’t miss him!)
- No Bake Peanut Butter Cookie Balls
- Don’t forget your Elf Card (pictured above and found HERE)
- M&M Fun Sized (I found the Christmas ones – YEA)
That’s it – it’s so easy to spread cheer. Feel free to add a personal touch based on who you’re giving to! I just LOVED doing this with my family and I LOVED doing it for my neighbor. You guys – alert level – I’m even MORE holiday than usual! Watch out!!!
