Cream Cheese Graham Cracker Sandwiches are a fun treat that even the kids can help make. No bake, the perfect dessert in a hurry!
Did you know that November 21 is National Adoption Day? I did. (Do I win?) As an adopted kid I LOVE that we now celebrate Adoption. Families are formed in all sorts of ways, and I’m probably a bit biased when I say that adoption is one of the best ways I can think of.
Every day of my life I am thankful for the family that adopted me. Here’s the awesome thing about being me. I have a great relationship with some of my half birth siblings. I have the truly best part of both worlds.
A fun quick story? I was adopted when I was 3 months old (I was one fat roly-poly baby too by the way – adorable if I do say so myself). Apparently, my family came to pick me up in our family’s van. My dad was going to be customizing the van (hey it was the ’70s) but it wasn’t done. SO they put lawn chairs in the back and stuffed in aunts and grandparents. They drove the hour to the agency got my cute self and drove me home. Here’s the totally ’70s part … They were all taking turns holding me in the back of the van! Safe? Nope, not even a little, but a great adoption “gotcha day” story!
I hear you questioning the above picture – I hear you. Let me explain. Honey Maid has long recognized and celebrated that while the makeup and day-to-day lives of families have evolved, the idea and importance of wholesome family connections remains the same. And Honey Maid celebrates Adoption. This makes me celebrate Honey Maid. Families come in all shapes, colors, and sizes and, like I mentioned, are made up in all different ways. Honey Maid gets this and I love them for it! Check out the Honey Maid Video (it’s awesome).
Before we get to food (we’re getting there) please shout out in the comments if you have a great Adoption Story like mine! I love them all!!!!!
My kids (okay, all of us) gobble up Honey Maid Graham Crackers almost daily (plain, s’mores – you name it I can eat them ANYWAY), but I wanted to make something special (thinking of the holidays that are so close!) So I made this really simple but so yummy Cream Cheese Graham Cracker Sandwiches. They were so incredibly good! And with wholesome Honey Maid Graham Crackers? They didn’t last long at my house!
