Craft Your Own Box Tops Collection Container to keep your Box Tops in one location. Kids can help with this easy project too.

Craft Your Own Box Tops Collection Container | Who Needs A Cape?

Back to school time is quickly approaching! I’ve found myself wondering lately where summer has gone? All of the sudden we’re prepping to send the kids back to school.  Part of the back to school prep is getting the family organized, that’s a job in and of itself.  A bit of organization goes a long way when it comes to school papers, projects and things of that sort. One of the small projects I wanted to tackle prior to school starting is getting our Box Tops for Education area tidied up. My kids LOVE collecting these and I love supporting a simple way to earn our school extra money. We turned in quite a few of these gems last school year during the 2 collection periods at Hawkins Elementary. Our dedicated parent volunteer for the collection program is Sarah Hofmann. She wonderfully oversees the collection periods and shared with me that during the 2014/15 school year, our school earned over $2600.00.  This year I’m sure we’ll break that number.

So you can see why I was delighted to find Hefty Waste Bags with BONUS Box Tops for on the package.  I may have squealed a tiny bit in the paper goods aisle in my local Kroger. You’ll want to grab this offer up, as its only a limited time offer available during the back to school season.

It’s the little things sometimes that make me happy, what can I say.  On specially marked boxes of Hefty Waste Bags you’ll see the BONUS Box Tops offer.  On one box of Hefty Waste Bags (I chose the Lavender Vanilla scent with Odor Block®) you’ll get 4 Box Tops…YES, 4!  Getting 4 Box Tops on a product that I had on my shopping list already has made collecting for the upcoming school year that much easier.  Craft Your Own Box Tops Collection Container | Who Needs A Cape?I plan on regularly purchasing Hefty Waste Bags since they are the only waste bags that support the Box Tops for Education program, that’s huge to me, I’ll gladly give them my purchase. Be sure to look for the specially marked Hefty Waste Bags at your local retailer during back to school season to get the BONUS Box Tops. Fun fact for you: Over $3 million in contributions to the Box Tops for Education program have been raised by Hefty brands.  That’s a substantial amount, wouldn’t you agree.

I wanted to collect our household Box Tops in the kitchen. It just makes sense to keep them in one location instead of spread out here and there which they previously were. One day I purchased some simple crafting items and had my kids help me make a collection container that will house them conveniently on the refrigerator. You know what comes in handy when crafting with kids?  Hefty Waste Bags of course!!! Cleanup was a snap, all the odds and ends remaining after we crafted went right into a Hefty Waste Bag.

Here’s the very simple steps to create your own Box Tops Collection Container!
