Primo water goes through a multi-step purification process including reverse osmosis which is a type of filtration process. The special membrane in reverse osmosis filters out many of the microscopic organisms and heavy metals that are present in drinking water, leaving just great tasting water.

Primo’s Water Purification Process removes or significantly reduces the presence of chlorine and chlorine by-products, bacteria and parasites, heavy metals (including lead and mercury), trace levels of pharmaceuticals and many more contaminants. I know this process gives me some added peace of mind.

In a matter of just a couple of minutes, I had a filled 5-gallon bottle and was ready to get us set up at home. I was very pleased with the overall simplicity of the Primo water dispenser.

I had no problem getting the dispenser up and running. With the bottom loading design, one person can easily replace the 5-gallon bottle.

My kids were eager to get filling! Bottles, cups, bowls, you can fill it all. Every day I send water in my kids’ backpacks for their bus ride. I’ve now given that job to my kids, they can easily fill their reusable water bottles.

Better yet, they can help take care of the family pets by filling their water bowls. It is a great responsibility which the kids take pride in.

The water is puppy approved, with all of the playing he does he gets very thirsty and I feel good about what he’s drinking.

As I mentioned above we chose to select a dispenser that offered a hot water option. My older kids love having this option for quick meals such as noodle cups or instant oatmeal. I personally love the option of a hot beverage in a flash.
