The holiday season is always busy! Do you need a dessert in a pinch? Make Easy Holiday Trifles with simple ingredients, so simple the kids can help too!
What’s not to love about the holiday season? The festive feeling that is all around is simply the best! My kids excitedly counting the days until Thanksgiving, I love it. We started putting up our decorations inside the house this past weekend. I love the excitement in the eyes of my children as they enjoy Thanksgiving preparations and the festive atmosphere!
Part of holiday prep for me is making sure I have everything on hand for a festive holiday season. A well-stocked linen closet with extras that include cleaning supplies and paper products. Then there’s my pantry, I love having all the essentials on hand for holiday recipes. I also take the time to stock my fridge and freezer for unexpected entertaining. I love being prepared for every possible scenario including those times when impromptu entertaining occurs.
A simple trip to Kroger helps me get stocked up and ready for guests. My first stop is the frozen food section for some Marie Callender’s® bakery-inspired classics! Yes, delicious loaf cake varieties such as Double Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake, Pound Cake Loaf Cake, Banana Nut Loaf Cake and Dutch Apple Loaf Cake. Marie Callender’s Loaf Cakes are made from scratch with delicious, wholesome ingredients. They are like homemade and are easy to make. Plus they are easy to clean up. That last part makes me very happy, who wants to do extra clean up during the holidays…, not me!
And wait there are delicious pies too, great flavors like Dutch Apple Pie and Chocolate Satin Pie. Marie Callender’s pies have made-from-scratch touches that make them the perfect dessert after the perfect meal.
All absolutely delicious on their own but I wanted to also stock up on the ultimate addition to any dessert: Reddi-Wip® Real Whipped Cream! Made with real whipped cream it is the perfect partner for your favorite holiday recipes. And with only 15 calories per serving, it is indulgent without the guilt.
With a quick shopping trip to Kroger, you’ll have delicious dessert essentials on hand for any impromptu dessert needs that may arise. Marie Callender’s bakery-inspired classics are perfect because they can go from the freezer to the oven in just 30 minutes. Your guests will love them!
