20 Minute Garlic Green Beans are about to become your go to side dish for your busy week-nights!
Busy weeknights, we all have them, right? Just this week alone we’re running from school functions to practices to scouting events, and somewhere in there we still need to find time for homework, showers and DINNER! Yes, all that activity after a long day of school and my family needs fuel and in the form of a tasty dinner that everyone will gobble up. On especially busy nights I have a go to dinner that everyone will eat with no complaints, just clean plates and happy faces. 20 Minute Garlic Green Beans are the perfect side to serve along with a satisfying STOUFFER’S® Meat Lovers Lasagna.
Not only will everyone in the house eat this meal (that’s a massive accomplishment) but it also saves me from serving a meal that gets the dreaded “thumbs down”. I do not have time for that! Keeping a frozen STOUFFER’S® Meat Lovers Lasagna in my freezer for an exceptionally busy night is such a time and sanity saver. When I’m shopping at Walmart I pick one up along with my other shopping essentials and just pop it into the freezer. Knowing I have an easy solution available right at my fingertips makes busy nights and mealtime madness that much easier.
Let me share with you how to prepare my fantastic 20 Minute Garlic Green Beans! You’ll need the following ingredients (you can print the recipe below): frozen green beans, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, balsamic vinegar & chopped pecans.
In a wok or pan, place oil and frozen green beans. Add salt, cook over medium heat for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add in balsamic vinegar and cook for 2-3 minutes. Next, add in garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Toss in pecans and cook for about 3 minutes on med/high heat (balsamic should be absorbed by the time it’s done cooking).
See, I told you this was an easy side dish and just the perfect companion to a STOUFFER’S® Meat Lovers Lasagna. We gather around the goodness of STOUFFER’S® filling out plates with the lasagna we’ve always enjoyed now with the additions of Italian sausage and pepperoni! YUM!
