Are you loving this spring weather? I sure am, definitely spending more time outside enjoying life! Which in turn means spending less time in the house and definitely spending less time in my kitchen. We’re either outdoors or on the go this time of the year. I don’t have loads of time to spend making dinner so I’m always on the lookout for delicious yet quick meals. When I was recently at my local Kroger store I found some new products on the shelf which helped inspired a FAST (under 30 minutes) meal that my family loved. What did I find? Not going to keep it a secret any longer! If you are a fan of the classic Hidden Valley Ranch products then you already know they are yummy! What if I told you they now have some mouthwatering new selections such as: Avocado, Sweet Chili and Roasted Garlic…YUM, right?!?
Not only an easy meal, but loaded with great flavors. What makes this quick meal even easier is the fact that you can customize it according to what you may already have on hand. If you have leftover chicken breasts in your refrigerator, use them! Whether you grilled them the night before or they were leftover from a previous meal they will work great. Now if you are like me and didn’t have any leftover chicken breast, pick up an already cooked rotisserie chicken from your grocery store. Whack it apart and there ya go…chicken breasts! Another time saver I’d like to pass along is for the bacon, I had literally NO time the night I was preparing this meal so I cheated and bought the bacon that you just heat in the microwave…30 seconds and bacon appeared ready to be used.
Back to the Hidden Valley Avocado Ranch, if you are a huge fan of avocados like I am you’re gonna want to try this out. All the creaminess of dreaminess that you’d with this flavor combination. It paired nicely with the other ingredients in this easy dinner. Simple ingredients such as: chicken breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and of course pita bread.
- Pita bread
- Chicken breasts
- Cheese, shredded
- Hidden Valley Ranch Avocado
- Toothpick for securing
- Generously apply Hidden Valley Ranch Avocado to pita bread. Place chicken breast pieces and bacon on top. Add lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. Fold pita over and secure with toothpick. Note: Use caution serving to children, remove toothpick prior to serving.
