I’m always in search of a new cocktail – I think that is becoming obvious by now 😉 My husband had bought me a split of champagne and I was deciding how to use it 😉 I like a sweeter champagne and this was a drier version – no problem I just knew I had to do something to it before I drank it!
So I decided upon blueberries – to be different. (You can use frozen berries – just let them thaw out a bit) This would make a FABULOUS brunch, shower, guest coming over drink. If you do that – I would personally make it in a pitcher. But making it in the glass is good for just one or two of you:)
- Blueberries (blended to make puree)
- Splash of Orange Juice
- Take a fluted glass and pour in blueberry puree until glass is a quarter filled
- Put a splash of OJ in the glass
- Top off with champagne
- Stir VERY gently
