If sleep seems to be evading you more and more, read My Top 5 Good Sleep Tips. Easy things to do that will help you get the rest you need.
So this year marked a monumental birthday for me, I turned 45. Yes, half-way to 90! They say ‘you’re only as old as you feel’ which I truly believe. Overall I have no complaints, I’m healthy, happy and doing the things in life that I enjoy.
What I will say though is that I’m busier than I’ve ever been in my entire life. I run a business from home, I’m a mom who is active within her children’s schools, I maintain a home, coordinate a large family and in between all of that I squeeze in time with friends and family.
At the end of the day I’m tired, and I’ll be honest a good night sleep was evading me quite frequently. I was open to finding solutions, so I set in place some easy guidelines from myself. Just 5 simple things to avoid in the evening before heading off to sleep. They may sound somewhat silly, but often we need to remind ourselves to avoid certain things which are no-sleep triggers. Caffeine, bad news, terrifying TV shows, or just overall negativity!
I also decided to try youtheory® Sleep Nighttime Powder, which provides broad-spectrum support for occasional sleeplessness.* youtheory® Sleep Nighttime Powder promotes restorative sleep. It comes in easy to use individual packets in a lemon-lime flavored drink mix, you simply add to water 30 minutes prior to bedtime.

I purchased youtheory® Sleep Nighttime Powder from Costco.com along with youtheory® Maca Root. Maca (commonly known as Peruvian Ginseng) is cultivated at high altitudes in the Andes Mountains of Peru. This root vegetable is historically used for nutritional and health purposes. Its many traditional uses include: food, energy, hormone balancing, sexual functioning, PMS relief and menopause relief.* As a middle-aged woman can use all the energy I can get!
Maca is best known as a “superfood” and an “adaptogenic botanical” that is ideally suited for both men and women’s health.* Simply mix youtheory® Maca Root into water or juice as a nutrient-dense superfood.
