Who’s ready for a Summer Road Trip??? I AM! I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting in the car and going – whether we are going somewhat local or driving 600 miles, my family and I are always ready to go go go! It’s not a joke. If I take to long in a rest stop my kids are yelling at me! They love Road Trips as much as I do!

Easy Road Trip Snacks 1

First thing I need to do before every Road Trip is to get my car ready! I head to Walmart Auto Care Center every single time. Not only do they take great care of my car, but I can get all my Easy Road Trip Snacks while I’m getting my oil changed. I mean honestly – it saves me time!

Fancy Nancy (my car) has just turned over 75,000 miles (yes I told you I drive a lot!) I am now getting Pennzoil® High Mileage Vehicle® oil change. It’s awesome – it helps clear out the sludge that cheaper (and not as good) oil leaves behind. Hey – just because my car has high mileage doesn’t mean it can’t run for a LOT longer. I use the Pennzoil® High Mileage Vehicle® oil change to keep that engine running!

PS *THIS IS IMPORTANT* Pennzoil® High Mileage Vehicle® oil change is on Rollback ($39.88 on Rollback to $35.88) Timing: June 15 – September 28. So now you have even more reasons to get the experts at Walmart Auto Care Centers (Find yours HERE) to change your oil!

Like I said, one of the reasons getting my oil changed at Walmart before a Road Trip is because I get to shop for my snacks for our Road Trip! Snacks are part of the fun in my universe! I discovered the EASIEST WAY to make it fun, easy and NOT messy for my kids in the back seat!

I bought a kids tackle box (yes the fishing kind). It had great compartments.

The tackle box also shut nice and tight. There were no wrappers everywhere, and it’s HARD to spill this!

Plus it had space underneath that I could place a bigger object (like a banana) and a drink!

You will love it, the kids will LOVE having this fun box full of fun and yummy snacks. Your Summer Road Trip is going to be AWESOME!

Tell me what you’ll fill your tackle box of Easy Road Trip Snacks with! I used some health bars, cherries (grapes would be awesome too), a few treat snacks that we don’t get often! So fun and so easy!
