Blogger of the Week #58

Happy New Year!  It’s so nice to be back (or at least trying to get back) to a “normal” routine again!  And that includes Blogger of the Week!  I’m going to let Meg Take it away!!! ~ Heather

When did you start blogging? I started blogging beginning of October 2013; the first year is under my belt! After going to culinary school and having a passion for cooking, but not knowing my direction with it, I finally landed on starting a food blog and I would say it was the best decision I ever made! Most difficult by far, but most rewarding as well. I have grown and learned more about myself than I ever thought. I have made friends all over the country that I can turn to for nearly everything now! It has been one stellar year for sure.

What’s your favorite thing you have published? My favorite thing I have published is my Coconut Vanilla & Almond Butter Smoothie! It is essentially me in a drink! Not complicated, sweet yet deceivingly healthy!

Bloggers you love? Oh the list grows by the day! A girl I regularly look up to is Taylor with Food Faith Fitness! She has the same view on food as I do, indulgent yet figure friendly. For recipe ideas and photography I love Half Baked Harvest. That girl is constantly cranking out recipes to surprise everyone. Then I recently met Krista withJoyful Healthy Eats. She is just as fun and spunky as she seems! Total gem to be around plus her food is right up my alley!

Biggest flop?  Biggest success?  Biggest flop would is still underway! Every day is a learning experience with photography. Before starting my blog I never picked up a DSLR camera so I am still finding my way with it but I would say that feeds into my biggest success as with every learning curve, there is struggle but I am teaching myself and exceeding my expectations of what I can! I surprise myself daily so I would take that as a success!
