Red White and Blueberries (Yogurt Covered Blueberries)

Yogurt Covered Blueberries

It’s that time of year to eat all things Red, White and Blue!  Save for adding food coloring to EVERYTHING – this is a pretty easy, healthy idea!

My kids loved it (they think anything dipped is amazing!) and I hope your kids do too.

Red White and Blueberries (Yogurt Covered Blueberries)

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of blueberries, washed and dried
  • 1/2 C - 1 C of Vanilla Yogurt
  • Red Sugar

Instructions

  1. Dip blueberries in yogurt (I put them in a bowl and mixed it)
  2. Place on wax paper on a cookie sheet
  3. Sprinkle with red sugar
  4. Freeze for at least one hour
  5. Serve immediately out of the freezer (the yogurt melts if left out)

I wanted to use Strawberries and Blueberries – but sometimes you forget that you are out of Strawberries! 🙂 Yes I think all berries would be so delish with the yogurt and frozen!
